So I have a few friends who are artists like myself - which is to say they have wonderful creative talents that they don't get to exercise anywhere near enough. One of these friends has a kickass basement decorated with posters and shelves of graphic novels and dvds and all that sort of thing, which he has expressed an interest in using as a party spot. My idea: Ask him to host a monthly art-fest in his basement where we can all get together and draw and maybe come up with challenges or something like this. We can bring our own drinks and get wasted and spend the night in his spare room (he has expressed a willingness for this to happen as well). Now I just have to convince him. Good idea? =x
